Every student fellowship has its distinguishing characteristic. We believe our distinction lies in our sense of Christian community. We pray that regardless of whether or not you are a Christian, AACF will be a community that is committed both to the Truth, as proclaimed in the Holy Bible, and to be a loving haven for spiritual inquiry and growth. We hope that these ministries are part of the answer to our prayer:

Small Group
Purpose: In Small Group, we hope to foster spiritual growth as we study the Bible in a small group setting and to experience the joy in learning and growing with others who love God and seek His truth.
Details: Small Groups will begin by the3rd week of school (week of 9/7). Meeting times and places for various small groups will be announced soon.
How to get involved: If you're interested in joining a small group or would like to become involved, please contact Alyssa.
Back to Top Outreach Purpose: We recognize outreach and evangelism in a personal and corporate setting. Through personal outreach, we desire to encourage the fellowship to seek ways to spend time and love their friends that don't know about a life in Jesus Christ. We also desire to have consistent corporate outreach events to which the fellowship can invite their friends. Through these events, we hope to create a warm atmosphere where we can share about Jesus.
How to get involved: If you're interested in outreach, contact Michelle or Jason. Back to Top
Follow Up Purpose: We desire to create a warm atmosphere and to continually care for and encourage newcomers and fellowship members through tabling, greeting, and contacting.
How to get involved: If you're interested in helping out with any of the above, contact Jason and Alyssa

Men's and Women's Ministry
Purpose: In this ministry, we desire to care for the spiritual walks of people in the fellowship. We also desire to set up times and events for the men and women of the fellowship to gather with the people of their gender. In these ways, we hope to encourage deeper relationships with Jesus Christ and encourage same gender relationships within the fellowship.
How to get involved: Please contact Michelle for more info.

Unity in Christ Purpose: To remind AACF that we are only a small part of the body of Christ working to reach the lost on this campus and that working with and building friendships with people from other fellowships is important in walking in unity and demonstrating God's love. Details: UIC is an organization that every Christian group on the Cal campus is part of. We get together every Monday night to pray, share about our fellowships, encourage one another, plan body-wide events, etc. We plan Interpraise every semester and coordinate the yellow books. Jesus says in John 17:20-23: "My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me." How to get involved: Please contact Core for more information. Back to Top Staff Purpose: To empower and equip students to do what God has called them to do. Details: Our current staff consists of Dave Fong and Angel Cheng. How to get involved: AACF is constantly looking for more staff workers, both full-time and volunteer, if you have a heart for being involved with college ministry, Dave and Angel would love to hear from you.
